As the All Progressives Congress team Continues its campaign across the state. The governorship candidate of the party, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu today visited Calabar Municipality the seat of power of the State.

"When you sent me to the house of representatives and later to senate, I did not go there to play around. I chair some of the most important and critical sectors of our nation's economy, including chairing several economic meetings in the United Nations and other international organizations. This and more are the things I plan to do when you elect me to become your next governor.
"My intention is to make sure that all Cross Riverians are gainfully engaged in a way that will make everyone proud. The moment we get into government, we will immediately ensure that we restore the dignity of all Cross Riverians"
On the contentious issue of Ejagham, the Governorship hopeful, reminded political stakeholders and traditional leaders not to be deceived by the ethnic politics the opposition party currently playing, maintaining that during their primaries that had an Ejagham son who contested the election, but because their intentions and interest of Ejagham nation was not their priority, they did not allow him to emerge."
