The All Progressives Congress in Cross River State today continued her statewide campaigns in Boki local government area in Cross River Central.
The rally which was held at Boki boys high school in Okunde, witnessed massive supporters of party faithfuls.
Addressing the jubilant crowd, governorship candidate of the party, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu appreciated the people for the rousing reception and waiting for hours to receive the campaign team. He made a commitment to improving the people's lives when elected
“Boki people I love you, thank you for waiting this long hours to receive us. Do not let anyone decieve, the incoming administration will build on the solid foundation Ayade has laid... He built the Boki East West road other administrations ran away from.
He promised to complete the east-west road in his first term when elected as Governor.
“The biggest problem of Boki is road and we will make sure we focus on your rural roads and partner with international organizations to scale up our agro-industrial revolution to ensure that our people are self sustaining in terms of food. We will provide grants and empower our youths and women"
On his track records, Prince Otu insisted that he stands tall as the most qualified candidate in the race.
“While serving in the national assembly, I sponsored a total of 8 bills, 4 were passed, 1 became a law, ask others what they have done since they went to the national assembly. I can tell you that in this race, I am the most qualified person”
Also speaking, leader of the campaign team, governor Ben Ayade said “the people of Boki, you are at the epicenter of the political process in this state, those who hold the fort of leadership.
"They said the east-west road will never be done, but we have done it. Even if I do not complete it, the next administration will do. That is why you have to vote for someone who have the intellectual capacity and human milk like Sen. Prince Otu to complete the road. If you make a mistake and vote the for another party, they will never complete it because it was started by me" he Said
